Orient Flights Aviation Academy at Wings India 2026
We are pleased to share an update on Orient Flights Aviation Academy (OFAA)’s participation at Wings India 2026, held from 27–31 January 2026 at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad. Wings India is recognised as one of Asia’s most influential civil aviation exhibitions, bringing together policymakers, aircraft manufacturers, operators, training organisations, and global aviation leaders on a single platform.
A key highlight of the event was the inauguration of the OFAA stall by Shri B.C. Janardhan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Roads & Buildings, Infrastructure and Investments, Government of Andhra Pradesh, underscoring the Academy’s growing prominence within the national aviation ecosystem.
During the exhibition, OFAA announced the induction of a new Tecnam training aircraft and outlined a strategic fleet expansion roadmap aimed at enhancing training capacity and reducing student turnaround time. Planned additions include next-generation aircraft such as the Tecnam P2010 and Piper Archer DX, strengthening OFAA’s capability to deliver both ab-initio and advanced pilot training supported by modern avionics and enhanced safety systems.
OFAA also showcased its advanced training infrastructure through detailed technical interactions and video presentations, including ALSIM AL250 flight simulators for single-engine and multi-engine operations. These DGCA-approved simulators enable weather-independent, competency-based training, reinforcing OFAA’s commitment to global best practices in flight training.
In addition, the Academy highlighted aircraft models and student-led drone projects, reflecting a strong focus on innovation, applied learning, and future-ready aviation technologies aligned with evolving industry requirements.
Overall, OFAA’s participation at Wings India 2026 significantly strengthened its visibility, credibility, and strategic positioning as a modern, professionally managed pilot training academy committed to excellence, safety, and capacity building for the future of aviation.
