Orient Flights Aviation Academy (OFAA) is proud to have participated in the historic 30th Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit 2025, held on November 14–15 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The summit, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, in the presence of Governor Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, brought together global leaders, policymakers, and industry captains under the theme “Technology, Trust, and Trade: Navigating the New Geoeconomic Order.” With over ₹13.25 lakh crore worth of investments committed through 613 MoUs, including participation from 2,500 delegates and 300 overseas representatives from 45 countries, the event marked a new chapter in India’s industrial and economic diplomacy.

At this landmark gathering, our Vice-President, Mr. Abel Mathew Prasad, represented OFAA and signed the MoU for setting up a state-of-the-art Flying Training Organization (FTO) in Andhra Pradesh. This initiative will not only expand access to world-class pilot training but also generate employment opportunities, contributing to the region’s economic growth and supporting India’s rising demand for skilled aviators.

This milestone reflects the visionary leadership of our Honourable Chairman & Managing Director, Dr.Anand Jacob Verghese, who also serves as Chancellor of the Hindustan Group of Institutions. With over 27 years of experience in education and aviation, Dr.Verghese has consistently championed innovation, compliance, and global collaboration—values that resonate deeply with the summit’s vision.

We proudly honor our Founder-Chairman, Late Dr. K.C.G. Verghese, whose pioneering vision established the Hindustan Group of Institutions with the enduring mission “To Make Every Man a Success and No Man a Failure.” The establishment of the Flying Training Organization in Andhra Pradesh is a living embodiment of this mission, by creating new pathways for aspiring aviators to succeed and by generating employment opportunities that ensure no talent is left behind.
